What is our mission?

We provide a temporary source of nutritious pet food for pets of families who are facing tough financial setbacks in Northeast Ohio.

We are not a permanent source for pet food and supplies, we provide emergency assistance for families in need.

The PAX story

PAX: Peace for Animals was founded in 2001 as a nonprofit organization. In 2010, we established Northeastern Ohio’s Pet Food Bank to help those who have fallen on tough times and are struggling to feed their pets.

We started soliciting donations of pet food and supplies from the community, and have been distributing those supplies to make a difference for others.

PAX will soon be hosting The Second Annual Pet Party to raise much needed funds for the operation of the organization.

Currently, PAX Pet Food Bank is entirely supported by donations, private funds and caring volunteers.
